Directions by Water

PAYC is located on Sabine Lake.  Consult current charts for details.  Entrance to Sabine Lake from the north is via the Thousand Foot Cut off the ICW; entrance from the south is via the Louisiana Causeway Bridge (monitoring Channel 13 and open from 5 a.m. until 9 p.m.).

Club Facilities

PAYC leases a portion of the Pleasure Island Marina from the Pleasure Island Commission. The PAYC facilities include the following:

•  Air-conditioned clubhouse with kitchen facilities and restrooms

• Gated-entry marina with 200+ boat slips (rebuilding after Hurricane Ike is projected to be completed in 2012)

• Boat hoist (damaged by Hurricane Ike)

• Screen house (heavily damaged by Hurricane Ike)

• Ice machine

• Easy access to fuel and pump out station (stations should be in operation by Summer 2010 after destruction of Hurricane Ike)

• Limited dry-storage facilities
